The Brussels Map Circle 2018 Map Afternoon (MAPAF)

Brussels, Belgium
Organisation: The Brussels Map Circle
The 2018 Brussels Map Circle Map Afternoon (MAPAF) will take place on Saturday 24 March 2018.
The Brussels Map Circle kindly invites its members and non-members to bring
  • an antique map
  • a contemporary map
  • an atlas
  • a globe
  • a cartographic instrument
  • an interesting book on cartography
and present it at the Map Afternoon.

We noticed over the last years that it is easier to follow the comments related to a specific item if they are supported by a short projection (using a slideshow or, e.g., a Microsoft PowerPoint® presentation) while the item is being properly displayed on a large table; this (optional) presentation should comprise a maximum of two slides per item in order to allow all participants to present their items. The details of your item and your presentation, if any, should reach Henri Godts (e-mail : ) or Jean-Christophe Staelens (e-mail: ) by 1 March 2018.
